iRobot Scooba Earns Good Housekeeping Seal May 1, 2006

Floor care maker iRobot Corp. announced that the iRobot Scooba(TM) Floor Washing Robot has earned the Good Housekeeping Seal. The Seal was granted after testing and evaluation by the Good Housekeeping Institute to ensure that Scooba performs as promised and will meet consumers' expectations.

"People are changing the way they clean their floors," said Greg White, executive vice president and general manager, iRobot. "Today they turn on the Scooba and dishwasher after dinner, put their kids to bed and return to find clean floors and dishes. The Good Housekeeping Seal underscores the fact that Scooba really helps maintain a cleaner floor."

Scooba is the first floor washing robot available for home use. Scooba simultaneously preps, washes, scrubs and dries at the touch of a button. Unlike a conventional mop that spreads dirty water on the floor, Scooba applies only fresh water and cleaning solution to the floor from a clean tank. Scooba can clean wet spills in addition to dirt and grime, and it is safe for use on all sealed, hard floor surfaces, including wood and tile.
