Romanian Appliance OEM Arctic (Bucharest) said 2005 sales were 150 million euros (approx. U.S. $185 million), for an increase of 20 percent over 2004. In a report from Greek news outlet reporter.gr, Arctic's 2005 sales within Romania were 100 million euros ($123 million) in 2005, for an increase of about 10 percent compared to 2004.

Exports increased 15 percent to 480,000 units in 2005. Export markets for Arctic include France, Germany, Austria, Poland, and Spain.

Arctic, majority-owned by Turkey's biggest appliance maker Arçelik, has 2006 sales goals of 180 million euros (approx. $222 million) to 185 million euros (approx. $228 million). Refrigerator exports alone may be as much as 75 million euros (approx $93 million).
