FAST and TurboChef Settle Lawsuit Mar 21, 2006

Food Automation - Service Techniques, Inc. (FAST) and TurboChef Technologies, Inc., reached a settlement in the lawsuit brought by FAST in July 2005.

FAST's lawsuit claimed that TurboChef Technologies infringed its U.S. Patent No. 4,920948. Details of the settlement were not released, but it allows TurboChef Technologies to continue to manufacture and sell without interruption.

"We are pleased with this agreement and glad we could work out an amicable resolution," said FAST President and Chief Operating Officer George Koether.

FAST (Stratford, Connecticut, U.S.) is a foodservice temperature and process control solutions supplier that sells its products in more than 65 countries. TurboChef Technologies (Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.) is a speed cooking producer for the foodservice industry.
