Manufacturer of fans and blowers ebm-papst Inc. introduces the NRG137 combustion air blower designed specifically for gas-fired condensing boilers. The NRG137 features a compact design with an aerodynamically optimized impeller that allows for significantly higher heating capacities and an optional integrated venturi for a heat input of up to 150 kW (512,000 Btu/h). The optional venturi replaces the need for combining several different component parts and retrofitting it on the fan. Users can now cover the entire desired power range with flow-optimized injection-molded venturi inserts that save cost and increase the effective turndown of the heating system up to 6:1.

In addition, the new microprocessor-controlled drive electronics not only substantially improve the power output but also reduce motor noise by 3 dBA. The NRG137 is available worldwide in
120 V ac or 230 V ac 50/60 Hz.
