The company has received CSA hazardous area approval for its Model 685B0001C14 electronic vibration switch. The certification includes Class I, Division 1, Groups B, C, and D; and Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F, and G. The approval allows the Series 685B dual-alarm electronic vibration switch to be implemented into hazardous-rated environments for reliable continuous vibration monitoring and shutdown protection. The switch offers variable time delays, dual 10-A form C relays, and dual NPT openings for ease of installation. As offered on all standard models, the switch also features a 4–20 mA output proportional to the measurement range, as well as the raw vibration signal from the integral accelerometer for system diagnostics and spectrum analysis.
