Infuse olefin block copolymers (OBCs) comply with all requirements for food contact as set forth by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the European Union (EU). Customers can use the OBCs to deliver new levels of performance in food contact applications. In canisters, bottles, adhesives, foams, and other food contact applications, the OBCs will deliver an outstanding balance of flexibility and high temperature resistance, excellent elastic and compression set properties, and lower cost-in-use versus many competitive materials. The unique block architecture allows for new combinations of performance and processing enhancements. The material innovation was created using the company’s unique Insite technology, which enables olefin elastomers to expand into a wide range of potential market applications for converters and manufacturers of flexible goods and products.
