The company added snap-in mounting technology to its existing metal line switches. The MSM series snap-in switch otherwise has the same characteristics as screw-mount counterparts. The snap-in switch is force fitted into the front panel for quick and efficient assembly in equipment with little or no access from the rear. It is said to save costs by eliminating assembly tools and other hardware needed for placement. The unit is available for mounting in a 22 mm-diameter panel opening with panel thicknesses of 1.5 mm and 2.0 mm. Other mounting diameters up to 30 mm with panel thicknesses up to 3.0 mm are available on request. The complete series provides maximum switching power over a voltage range of 5 V dc to 250 V ac and a current range of 0.1 to 10 A. Schurter Inc.
