The VMS400 is a mini spool valve that is said to be ideal for a broad range of low to high viscosity fluids. Up to 700 pounds fluid pressure can be applied, which makes it possible to dispense viscose fluids, such as pastes and gels. The spool valve has an adjustable suck-back so the fluid cut-off at the end of the cycle can be finely adjusted. This feature not only ensures a smooth finish to an accurate shot program and bead path sequence, but also reduces waste and rework expense. The minimum shot size is 0.1 cc. A mini spool valve is suitable for applications requiring precision and repeatability in shot cycling, bead paths and gaskets where smaller sizes are required. I&J Fisnar Inc.
