Bayhydrol® XP 2592 is a cosolvent-free, waterborne polyester-polyurethane dispersion for the formulation of high-quality coatings. The product is said to emit only very slight amounts of VOCs and helps meet the requirements of the VOC Directive without the use of costly and complex waste air purification. According to the company, the binder can be used to formulate primers and single-layer coatings offering very good corrosion protection. It can also be used for the formulation of high-gloss topcoats with good chemical and weathering resistance, or even effect coatings. According to the company, the product’s versatility also extends to application techniques, with the choice of spray, dip, flow, and roller application.
