The performance of electrical induction motors depends mainly on the quality of the rotor built into the motor, according to the company. In response, the company says its rotor quality analyzer RXA 101d is designed for fast and accurate testing of rotors after die casting and before assembly. This is said to help reduce costs invested in faulty components that are assembled into the end product. The comparison-based test applies a power measurement of the test rotor by use of a special measuring stator. A built-in magnetic bar scanning device enables evaluation of individual rotor bars and overall inductance. The test station also enables loading of one test rotor while another is testing, which reportedly reduces cycle time to approximately 5 seconds. Deltatronic Technology Sales
