Cook-N-Dine USA calls its products stainless steel cooking furniture. The cooking surface of the 304-stainless tables and cooktops heat to 430°F (221°C). The surface is designed to form a shallow concave depression in the center to help hold in food as it is cooked, and the OEM says complete meals can be made directly on the cooking surface without pots or pans. When switched off, the surface retracts until flat. The product are designed and produced by Munich, Germany-based CDS (Creativ Design Schacht) Design GmbH and sold in North America, Australia and New Zealand. www.cook-n-dine-usa.com
