The Minden Master Gas Grill, scheduled to launch in July 2006, is said to be the first outdoor gas grill that can be customized by the buyer on the Internet. The configuration Web site allows users to select grill colors, side burner, Teflon-coated griddle, stainless steel grate, ice bucket, bamboo cutting board, and GrillGas lantern.
To facilitate easy set-up, the unit is designed to be assembled with just one included tool and 12 screws, and assembly is said to take approximately 15 minutes to 20 minutes.
The company says one of its most unique features is the easy-glide lid, with a four-bar mechanism that pivots the lid completely behind the grill. This makes the lid easier to lift, and, once open, provides an unobstructed cooking surface. www.mindengrill.com
