The new Valstatā„¢ Series of economical bimetallic thermal protectors combines limited design options with a stocking program to offer cost effect, reliable solutions in a variety of motor and transformer applications. The first Valstat thermal protectors are all snap action devices with the bimetallic element carrying the circuit for maximum sensitivity under short circuit conditions.

The PepiĀ® 1/2-inch disc and cantilever style bimetallic thermal controls and thermostats are snap and creep-action devices offer customers the ability to customize designs in a number of ways to enhance performance characteristics. The devices have been especially popular in appliances due to their reliability as well as their versatility.
