Ball Valves

The company's GBC series of ball valves are said to have a slimline design that offers full bi-directional flow with minimum pressure drop. A valve seat formed from TeflonĀ® is said to ensure maximum tightness in the closed position. The valves have a working pressure of 650 pounds per square inch gauge (psig) (test pressure 940 psig), which makes the items suitable for R410A and subcritical CO2 applications, as well as any fluorinated refrigerant. Each ball valve is helium leak-tested at the company's ISO 9001 factory. Threaded machine screw holes are provided opposite the spindle so that the valves can be panel-mounted if desired. Twelve sizes are available, from 1/4 inch to 3-1/8 inches, and are UL- and CSA-approved, and CE marked. Danfoss Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Division
