The company’s tube joining system is said to allow manufacturers to join refrigeration tubes of similar or dissimilar diameters from 1.6 to 22 mm and similar or dissimilar material, including copper, steel or aluminum. The tube joining system does not use heat, welding or threading, but instead uses the elasticity of the tubes to form a hermetic, permanent mechanical joint. The joining system is said to be highly reliable, clean, easy to use, cost effective, and have high burst pressure strength. The system can reportedly withstand 200 bar pressure, making it ideal for use with the new generation of refrigerants coming onto the market such as R410A and Co2. Vulkan Lokring
