Literature from Bemis highlights the company’s heat-activated film adhesives. The solvent-free, 100-percent solid thermoplastic adhesives are said to reduce overall weight, have faster cycle times and have an unlimited shelf life. The adhesives are said to exhibit superior bonds on solid, foamed and honeycomb structures, as well as bonding sandwich panel skin materials made of aluminum steel, polyester, polycarbonate, wood, and glass to a variety of substrates, such as HIPS, PE, PP, PET, PEN, PVS, and PU.
