The new blender from Hamilton Beach is certainly creating a stir—or rather, eliminating the need to. The company recently introduced its new line of Wave-Action™ blenders that are said to eliminate ice chunks and provide a fun, splash of color to the kitchen. According to Hamilton Beach, the blenders provide a smooth, even mix with each use because the units continuously stir and force the mixture down into the blades and back up the jar for thorough blending throughout the entire jar. The company says this movement is created with a newly designed blade and jar alignment. An angled blade alignment creates a two-channel vertical movement, which shifts the vortex created during blending, eliminating the need to stir contents.

Available in 10- and 12-speed models, the blenders also added color with its new Durablend jars. Hamilton Beach says the plastic jars are now 50-percent thicker but still reportedly lighter than glass. The company says the blender’s first Durablend jar color is Caribbean Blue, with others to follow.
