The company’s KL series of DIP switches feature 2 to 12 positions, splayed or straight termination, extended or recessed actuator length, and top tape seal. The electrical rating of the switches is 25 mA @ 24 V d.c. switching and 100 mA @ 24 V d.c. carrying current with an electrical life of 2,000 cycles. Contact resistance is <25 mW initially with dielectric strength of 500 V rms minimum. The company says the switches are ideal for use in dry circuit and low current applications featuring gold-over nickel-plated phosphor bronze contacts and gold-over nickel-plated brass terminals. The switches are said to be ideal for use in computers, computer peripherals, telecommunications, test equipment, instrumentation, audio and medical applications, and remote controls.
