The company’s AHR series Power Transformers are designed for the HVAC/R industry and are used to step down various voltages for appliance use. The series utilizes a UL-certified Class B electrical insulation system to ensure safe operation and is available with 30 VA and 40 VA power ratings. The company says the transformers offer low heat rise and operating frequency (50/60Hz) in addition to a wide range of primary voltages between 120 V and 575 V and a secondary voltage of 24 V. According to the company, the AHR series has a capability of up to three primary voltages, 30-VA and 40-VA power ratings, various mounting options, split bobbin design, and customizable terminations. Common applications include control circuits for furnaces, heat pumps, refrigerators, and air-conditioners.
