A CD-ROM from Kolene Corporation highlights the company’s Recover® low-temperature cleaning processes. The processes operate from ambient temperatures to about 300°F and are said to offer superior cleaning and removal characteristics on a broad range of surfaces and coatings. The CD-ROM shows how the processes are formulated to strip reject organic coatings from high-value components. A specific in-process example of stripping reject clearcoat from polished alloy wheels is shown. The company says its processes leave highly polished surfaces unaffected, requiring little or no finishing or repolishing.
