Snap-Action Switches
December 2004

The 1080/1085 series of snap-action switches in size DIN 41635 A are designed for applications such as industrial controls and timers. The switches are said to feature a good snap action even at slow actuation. This is reportedly achieved by the precision mounting of the moving contact part (milled bearing edge). Changeover, NCC, and NOC switches are available with different actuating forces (0.15 N to 4 N). The contact opening width is <3 mm in most versions. Variants with contact opening widths >3 mm are also available.
