The CHR® brand K-201 and K-202 polyimide film, silicone adhesive pressure sensitive tapes are said to offer exceptional performance for fine line masking in competitive PCB finger masking applications, as well as in demanding appliance powder-coating applications. The K-201’s 1-mil film substrate and K-202’s 2-mil backing are said to provide flexible, durable resistance to chemicals, abrasion, contamination, and high temperatures. The tapes’ silicone adhesive is said to operate effectively between -100°F to +500°F. The tapes are available in master logs (39 in by 36 yd) or in cut rolls (1/4 to 39 in wide by 36 yd).
