The D-HBT is a high-temperature, door-type extended hood warewashing machine from Champion Industries (Winston-Salem, NC, U.S.). It is designed to be highly versatile and can be used to wash small dishes and, by virtue of its 27-in-tall opening, it can accept trays and sheet pans.

The unit also has dual NSF listing—it is certified as both a dishwashing and pot/pan/utensil washing device. A mode and time cycle selector switch allows the user to choose between Dishwasher Mode or Pot/Pan Washer Mode. The user can select a 1- or 2-min cycle for dishes and 3- or 6-min cycle for pots, pans, and utensils.

The D-HBT is designed to be compact, including a built-in, stainless-steel electric booster that allows it to provide fresh 180°F/82°C rinse water without external equipment. It is also intended to be easy to operate. One switch fills the unit, heats the wash tank, and turns on the booster heater. Cycle start is door-activated.

The warewasher is equipped with an automatic electric drain valve, an adjustable mode/time selector switch, and a 2-hp drip-proof pump motor. www.championindustries.com
