Fire Stone Home Products unveiled its Legacy Outdoor Electric Range in March at the Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association Expo.

The 20i/e Legacy Electric Range(TM) is specifically designed to get hot fast. The high-watt density heater yields a top temperature of 700 degrees F.

"The Legacy 20i/e is our most innovative product to-date and is only a glimpse of what is to come from Fire Stone in the future," said Dan Shimek, Fire Stone Home Products president and CEO.

The electric offering from Fire Stone – powered by a standard 110-volt outlet – is designed to perform just like larger gas-fueled cooking appliances in the Legacy Collection. The exclusive design combines conventional grilling capability with a searing plate and an electronic monitoring system.

Legacy's Grill Tech™ electronic monitoring system tracks each cooking process and is designed to signal users when food is perfectly done. This system is said to eliminate the need for an outdoor chef to constantly monitor the cooking process – the Legacy does it electronically.

A patent-pending burner system – the Legacy HeatXchange™ – allows a chef to toggle between searing and grilling. The result is an easy transition between searing heat and temperatures low and steady enough to bake a cake.

The aluminum searing plates are Teflon-coated. The exterior is all stainless steel construction designed to never rust.
