According to the supplier, typical door switches generate small sparks between contact terminals. The new SDKS door switch is said to eliminate the presence of these sparks and is compliant with explosive prevention standards, including CQTS and NEMKO. It is also UL and SEMKO qualified. The switch is designed for refrigerator door detection or other appliance usage with 2-A, 250-V or 4-A, 125-V rating and 100,000 life cycles. Terminals are for wire harness connector design, and the housing has a snap-in mount spring. Both SPST and SPDT are available.
