The company announces its single-pole/triple-throw (SP3T) CMOS analog switch. The FSA3357 device is designed to replace two (in series) single-pole/double-throw (SPDT) components. The switch features an RDS(on) of only 6 ?, 0.01-percent total harmonic distortion (THD), and -60 dB crosstalk characteristic. According to the company, a single 3:1 mux FSA3357 device lowers part count by 50 percent in comparison to SPDT components. Other features include a 250-MHz bandwidth and a VCC range of 1.65 to 5.5 V. Applications include mobile telephones, MP3 players, PDAs, and notebook computers.
