Transicoil, a division of Horizon Aerospace LLC, released a 6-page, full-color catalog for its standard lines of size 5, 8, 10, and 14 brushless d.c. motors. The catalog describes the motors' advantages, which include maximum torque in small packages, four-pole constructions to minimize cogging, neodymium magnets for high rotational power, high-speed designs to 100,000 rpm, high-temperature Hall-effect sensors, and double-shielded stainless-steel ball bearings to ensure long life. The catalog includes speed-torque curves, dimensional outline diagrams, a timing diagram, options, and a specification chart.
