Summit Series Grills from Weber-Stephen Products Company for the U.S. Market

The new Summit Series Grills from Weber-Stephen Products includes the Summit Gold A, with six stainless steel burners. The grill offers 57,600 BTU-per-hour input and 902 square inches of total cooking area.

The grill is equipped with the Electronic Crossover(R) ignition system and a fixed, commercial-grade thermometer. Stainless steel is used extensively in the construction of the Gold A, including:

  • a double-walled, stainless-steel hood
  • a stainless steel hood handle
  • grates made of welded stainless steel
  • heavy-duty stainless steel Flavorizer(R) bars
  • heavy-duty steel bottom shelf
  • enclosed storage area with stainless steel doors

    The primary cooking area if the grill is 648 square inches. the warming rack area is 140 square inches. The Warm-Up(TM) basket area is 114 square inches, giving the unit a total cooking area of 902 square inches.

    The Gold A is designed with two thermoset work surfaces and two thermoset swing-up work surfaces. It also has:

  • three tool holders
  • crack-proof, all-weather wheels
  • locking casters LP gas models have a 20-lb LP tank and a precision tank scale. Natural gas models have a 12-foot flexible hose.

    The Gold A has a suggested retail price of U.S. $1,399.
