The company's Simple Step 17 is an integrated step motor and driver/controller solution. Commands can be issued from a Windows(R) HyperTerminal(R) program or from a Simple Step Windows(R) application. Features of the solution include stand-alone operation with no connection to a PC; automatic execution of stored commands upon power-up; daisy chain up to 16 Simple Step 17 units; fully programmable acceleration and deceleration speeds; software selectable running and holding current; up to 64 micro stepping resolutions settings; bipolar control; two digital I/O and two fixed input channels; and up to 85 oz-in torque output.
