A new brochure from ThyssenKrupp Nirosta GmbH discusses the company's Nirosta(TM) brand of steel that can be tailored to individual customer requirements by varying the alloying elements and process parameters. The company says that a higher chromium content, for instance, increases chemical resistance. Formability and resistance to acid and heat are reportedly improved by adding elements such as nitrogen, molybdenum, and aluminum.
