The company's new MICROTEMP(R) G6 and G8 series of thermal cutoffs (TCO) are said to offer increased electrical ratings, affordability, and one-shot operation over competitively position products. The G8 TCO is said to be the only pellet-type thermal cutoff that is UL/IEC recognized at 25 A/250 V a.c. in a package no larger than a typical TCO rated at 10 A/250 V a.c. The G6 and G8 can replace larger, less responsive, and more expensive bimetal-type, non-resettable, one-shot thermal fuses. Therm-O-Disc, an Emerson Company
