The Series 59 is a microprocessor-based temperature controller platform, which is designed for easy installation and operation. The initial version is a 24 V a.c., on/off controller with a large, three-digit orange LED display that permits viewing of the setpoint temperature from a distance. RTD or thermistor inputs are supported, and output type is either a solid-state driver or a mechanical relay. Temperature offset values are said to be easily entered via the front panel to match the actual process temperature with the desired setpoint value. In addition, the setpoint value will flash when the unit is preheating, and an output status indicator will be lit while the temperature is below setpoint. Fenwal Controls
