A new series of terminal (junction) blocks have a low-profile design for DIN rail mounting and feature an easy-to-use captive screw system for connecting wires, with an optional built-in shunt switch for added safety. K-Blox(TM) terminal/junction blocks are molded from thermoplastics, rather than conventional phenolics, reportedly allowing a low-profile design that saves space and can be mounted on a 35-mm (1.38-in) DIN rail. Featuring a captive screw system that simplifies the attachment of ring lugs and eliminates the need for disassembly, they are offered in 4-, 6-, 8-, 10-, and 12-position sizes and include a permanent marker strip for block identification.
