A full range of low-cost electrode assemblies that can be custom configured to meet specific OEM direct spark and hot surface gas ignition system requirements are being introduced by Fenwal. The company's Electrode Assemblies for gas ignition systems are available as flame sense rods, spark ignitors, or spark/sense combinations in a variety of sizes and configurations. Custom fabricated to precisely position the spark gap, the electrodes often use alumina or steatite ceramics for applications up to 1,800?F. Available sensor rod materials include nickel chrome, stainless steel, and other specialty metals. Available with nickel-plated cold-rolled steel brackets in various shapes and sizes, the Electrode Assemblies can be supplied with lead wires to virtually any length and termination. Fenwal
