Research company Degree Choices analyzed data from engineering grad programs in the US. The firm looked at salaries from those who picked up a master’s degree in engineering, a degree that takes 1-2 years to complete. A master’s in engineering can lead to an increase in salary from $5,000 to $25,000 over a bachelor’s degree.

The schools in this slideshow are ranked by the average salaries of students three years after completing their degree. The overall average pay for engineers with a master’s is $93,141. Graduates from the top 20 schools listed here earned considerably more.
