While most people learn about new technology nowadays over the Internet, there was once a time when massive global expositions called World’s Fairs showcased new inventions. These expositions often displayed the cultures of various participating countries. But World’s Fairs also displayed new inventions, such as the telephone and color TV. At the same time, buildings and and landmarks constructed for these fairs often remained long after the expositions occurred as tourist attractions.
