Developed by German organizers,
Koelnmesse GmbH and Messe Berlin GmbH, HomeTech will take place Feb. 25-27,
2004 in Cologne, Germany at the Cologne Exhibition Grounds.
The new trade show is a combination of the industry's former event,
Domotechnica, held in Cologne, Germany, and HomeTech, which debuted in
2002 in Berlin, Germany. The new, integrated trade show will take place
every other year, alternating locations between Cologne and Berlin.
HomeTech 2004 will focus on three main segments of the appliance industry
- Major Household Appliances, which includes washing machines, water
heaters, refrigerators, etc.; Small Household Appliances, which includes
food processors, personal care appliances, etc.; and Components, which
includes installation treatments, light fixtures, and accessories for
large and small household appliances.
The international fair will feature more than 1,000 exhibiting companies
from around the globe, including such regions as New Zealand, Bulgaria,
Jordan, China, and Argentina, as well as Europe and the U.S.
HomeTech Components, where
approximately 240 industry suppliers will exhibit the latest in appliance
components such as thermoplastic coating powders, gas burners, valves,
thermostats, motors, controls, and switches, is also integrated into
the 3-day event.
