Hitachi Home & Life Solutions Co., Kansai Electric Power Co. and Tokyo Electric Power Co. jointly developed the Hitachi Commercial-Use Eco Cute, a compact, high-efficiency heat pump water heater intended for 2006 release. |
In addition to using CO2 as a refrigerant, the unit incorporates a newly developed, high-efficiency compressor and high-performance heat exchanger to help it achieve the a top-class rating of coefficient of performance (COP) of 4.07.
