Gaska Tape, Inc.'s Polymeric Series foam tape features resistance to hostile temperature extremes and abrasive chemical environments and moisture. The tape is suitable for sophisticated applications for a variety of industries, including HVAC, industrial equipment, chemical processing, metalworking, material handling, and pollution/air control, as well as for other applications that require tough gasketing solutions for hostile environments.

The tape is specially formulated and manufactured to be compatible with most plastics and a wide range of synthetic plastic products, including polycarbonate such as Lexan; polyacrylics such as Plexiglass; ABS plastics; fiberglass; and polypropylene composites. Plasticizer migration has reportedly been nearly eliminated to eradicate marring, crazing, or cracking problems common with conventional gasketing materials.

The tape also specs-out with excellent aging characteristics and can be engineered to other densities when applications require, according to the supplier. Available in a variety of roll widths, thicknesses, and densities, the product is manufactured with rigid quality control to maintain tight thickness tolerances. In addition, it is available with skin on two sides for better adhesive bonding to substrate materials and with single- or double-sided water-based or solvent-based adhesives.
